Introduction

Welcome. I am a qualified, BACP-registered counsellor based in London and Greece. I am also a transgender man and recently a parent of twins; my preferred pronouns are 'he/him/his'.

I am passionate about working with gender and sexuality and supporting LGBTQ+ clients.

I only work online and I see clients over secure video-conferencing. Sessions can be in English or Greek.

Who is this practice for?

I work with individuals in LGBTQ+ communities and I have a particular interest in working with people who identify as transgender, non-binary, gender diverse, and gender-questioning. I offer therapy for anyone who wants to explore their identity, regardless of whether they are considering or undergoing transition. I also offer therapy to people who want support for other challenges in life and would like to work these through with a trans therapist.

I have experience of working with clients on the following:

Anxiety - Depression - Low self-esteem - Shame - Life transitions - Gender dysphoria - Questioning/exploring sexuality - Loss - Bereavement - Relationship problems - Parenting difficulties - Coming out - Family conflict - Anger - Gender questioning - Addictions

I also work with couples, partners, family members or anyone close to someone who is exploring their gender identity.

About the therapeutic approach

The counselling approach I am using is Person-Centred. I will offer an empathic, non-judgemental and accepting space in order to help you make sense of your experiences and feelings, as well as access your own resources to explore the challenges you are currently facing.

From my own experience, therapy has been incredibly important for me throughout my gender transition.

The aim of the practice is to provide a confidential, accepting and safe therapeutic space to explore any discomfort, confusion, distress and curiosity around gender identity and sexuality. I believe it is also important to celebrate identity in a supportive environment.
